Salvadoran-American tenor, Manfred Anaya, is making a name for himself performing a diverse set of repertoire. Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Anaya is emerging as a young artist to watch. In the 2021-22 season, he sang Gastone for Dayton Opera’s La Traviata, and covered the role of Tchaplitsky in The Queen of Spades with Des Moines Metro Opera, and premiered the role of Rose's Fiancé in Awakenings with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Other notable roles elsewhere include Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Dr. Caius in Falstaff, and Scaramuccio in Ariadne auf Naxos. He holds a Bachelors of Music from California State University — Northridge, the MM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
