Rachel Reich Freed is a sought-after soprano in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Ms.Freed has performed with reputable companies including Opera Santa Barbara, Opera San Jose, Opera Experience Southeast and Long Beach Opera. Recent roles include Donna Elvira in Mozart'sDon Giovanni,Second Lady inDie Zauberflöte, and Tatyana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Other notable roles include Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen, Miss Hope in Menotti's The Boy Who Grew Too Fast, and Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata. A recurring soloist with the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony, Ms. Freed was contracted to perform Miriam in Schubert's Mirjam's Siegesgesanglast season.
