Urangoo Batbayar
Stage Manager
Urangoo Batbayar is a Mongolian-born stage director, opera singer, and voice teacher based in Los Angeles. She most recently worked as a stage manager for Pacific Opera Project’s Don Bucefalo. After finishing her study in Ulaanbatar, she moved to Italy when she was 21 to pursue a career in opera. During her time at the Venice Conservatory of Music, Urangoo performed at various prestigious venues, including Teatro Malibran in Venice, Teatro Treviso and the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia. Following the completion of her master’s degree in opera stage directing at the Verona Academia per l’Opera, she worked as an assistant director at the Teatro Coccia and
Teatro Pisa. Since then, she has moved to Los Angeles where she’s pursuing an MBA in
Business Administration while continuing her artistic endeavors. She’s thrilled to continue collaboration with Pacific Opera Project in their upcoming production of La scuola de’ Gelosi.
