Yumi Hashimoto

Born in Southern California, pianist Yumi Hashimoto has performed as a soloist, collaborative pianist and vocal accompanist throughout Southern California and the New York tri-state area. Specialized in classical repertoire, she holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills and master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music. She has worked extensively with vocalists in opera festivals such as Canto Toulouse and the International Vocal Arts Institute in New York, chorus and assistant conducting for New Rochelle Opera and New Jersey Verismo Opera and conducting the children’s chorus for a Carnegie Hall concert of Mahler’s 8th symphony. This will be her third project this year working with POP and is excited to be a part of it!
